FAQs

  • When does registration open?

Registration opens on the 1st of March each year.

    When does registration close?

Registration closes one full week before the start of each camp OR when capacity is reached.

What is the cost of registration?

The cost of registration is $450.

    Is financial assistance available?

Yes. Please consider what your family can reasonably afford. Then reach out to the Director for assistance.

  • What should my child pack?

You can find a full packing list by clicking the button at the bottom of the page.

Is there anything my child should NOT bring?

Please do not send your campers to camp with a camera. They will be confiscated and returned at the end of camp.

Please also refrain from packing any valuable items that may be lost or damaged.

Do not pack medication that is not in its original packaging.

Do not pack weapons of any kind including pocketknives.

  • What should I do with my child’s medication?

Medication must be given to the camp nurse at check-in. All medication must be kept with the camp nurse at all times, including over the counter medications (i.e. allergy medications, pain relief medications, melatonin, vitamins, etc.). Medications MUST be in the original container. Any medication not in the original container will not be accepted (including pillboxes).

  • Will I be able to contact my child while they are at camp?

At camp, one of our greatest goals is to help cultivate lifelong friendships between campers. We believe that this happens best when everyone is fully present—sharing meals, conversations, games, and time in God’s Word without the distractions of the digital world.

Our camp is also meant to be a break from the constant noise of modern life: smartphones, social media, and the pressure of being “always connected.” To make this possible, we require all campers to turn in their phones at registration. Devices will be safely stored and returned at the end of camp. They will have time throughout the day to call home. If you need to contact your camper, please call the Camp Shiloh office at (903)855-1800.

Will I be able to see pictures of my child during camp?

Camp Shiloh and its staff are very careful to keep any pictures private. If you would like to view pictures of camp throughout the week, please talk to the counselors at check-in. They will help ensure that you are able to have access to those photos with the appropriate app.

  • What time is Check-In?

Check-In is from 3-5 PM. If you are unable to arrive during this timeframe, please contact the Director ahead of time.

    Where is Check-In?

Camper check-ins will take place at the conference center in the middle of Camp. Please click here to view a map of Camp Shiloh.
